Dr. William Deardorff is a clinical health psychologist and specializes in working with patients with chronic pain and spinal conditions. He has served on the Veritas Health Medical Advisory Board for 15 years.
- Dr. Deardorff led a private practice for more than 30 years as Clinical Director of the PainCare Center of Valley Presbyterian Hospital and as Clinical Director of West Coast Spine Institute.
- He has also been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, such as Health Education Quarterly.
- He has co-authored 10 books including Preparing for Surgery: A Mind-Body Approach to Enhance Healing and Recovery, The Psychology of Spine Surgery, and Win the Battle Against Back pain: An Integrated Mind-Body Approach.
